HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY, our 1st little miracle!!!!!!
Mommy & Daddy LOVE you!!!!
I can't believe that 11 years has gone by so quickly!!
She's grown to be such a beautiful young lady. She's the kindest, most gentle, loving child.
She loves everything so full heartedly. I have learned so much from her, nore than she'll ever know. I just hope she rubs off on her brothers and sister with the kindness and compassion she has in her heart.
Love you KaylaBug
Kayla's New chore
Daddy taught her how to drive the mower last weekend. He had to build a block on the brake so she didn't have to stretch to get it down.

Barrel racing(walking)

Kayla's 1st time doing barrels. she's not too sure of cantering yet, so she just walked the pattern. By the end of the month, she should be running like a champ!!

My growing little men

Erik went for his 6 month check up last week. He weighs 14 lbs 12 oz  26 1/2 inches long and doing great. He's eating solid foods and loves it. Not too fond of green beans or peas, but we're working on it.  he's on the move all the time..not crawling yet, but manuevering however he can; like rolling all around. he scoots on his back too. He has his two bottom front teeth in already and likes to show you if you give him your hand..(ouch) He also gives kisses-very very wet ones at that LOL.

Nicholas is in T-Ball this year for the first time. He was a little sceptical at first, but really enjoys it. His first game is May 12.  The split running has started this week. Between Nicholas' T-ball and Kayla's horse riding for the fair, Chris and I have to split up and run one or the other to practice and riding.

Wednesday was Nicholas' 5th birthday. Wow, where did 5 whole years go? I remember everything about the night I went into labor with him and the morning he was born. I had never felt such pain in my life. But when I saw his little face for the first time, I knew it was all worth it!!! I made a huge cookie for him to take as his birthday snack to school. It was a huge hit! He got to pick where we were going out to eat and he chose El Bracero by the boats(where our boat is docked in the summer) He wanted his favorite chips and white cheese. After dinner, our server and others brought out the sombrero and a sundae for him.

Erik's 1st two teeth

Happy 5th Birthday my little buddy
We love you!!!!

Last week, Nicholas lost his first tooth. It had been wiggly for a few days and
he decided he wanted an apple, barely a nibble and it fell out. He was so excited.
the tooth fairy left him $5.00.

Emily wanted to show me her teeth as well for a picture

Emily took this photo of Erik

I took the kids bowling this week on spring break. Nicholas and Emily really liked this helper.
